There’s been times when I’ve been putting suitcases away and I’ve been told off for being ‘too slow’ whilst going up a wobbly ladder. They expect you to handle tills and put stock back at the other side of the floor at the same time. I wenzel 2 room tsnt was only working there for 3 months but it’s the worst retail job I’ve ever had. One week I would have 5 days next I would have 1 day. The environment is good working in as the other workers are all friendly. The management sucks, they change rots just hours before and you’re expected to work for them. My manager told me I don’t care I have 26 years of experience. But the people I worked with were great and were still in touch. I enjoyed working in sports direct it was fun and enjoyable. I was able to work with friendly people and they helped me a lot when I needed the help. Sometimes it was hard because it was busy at some days but I managed to get used to it and get better each day.
